{ "culture": "en-US", "name": "", "guid": "", "catalogPath": "", "snippet": "This data layer depicts land ownership boundaries to the best available accuracy. The accuracy varies dramatically across the county, with a few areas accurate to less than a foot, most developed areas closer to 10-20 feet, and some more than 100 feet. Each parcel is identified by a unique 12 digit parcel number (PNUM), but may include multiple polygons. Each parcel is defined by historical taxing precedent, consequently, there is no certainty that any given parcel is a legal lot of record. Land that is not taxed may be mapped arbitrarily, and may not have attributes that correspond to taxed parcels. Parcels that are bounded by shorelines, either saltwater or freshwater, may not match the corresponding feature on the hydrologic layers for a variety of reasons. \n\nIn addition to the parcel number identifier, taxable parcels have one or more \"Property ID\" codes (PROP_ID) that correspond to records in the Assessor's Appraisal and Taxing database (PACS). Some tax exempt properties have these codes, and some don't. This partial correspondence to property records complicates the process of assigning attributes to each parcel, consequently, these attributes are informational, and at times approximate. Do not use these attributes for any legal or regulatory decisions. \n\nPRC_DETAIL includes Owner Information, while PRC_DETAIL_P (the public version) does not. PRC_DETAIL_FULL includes fields related to development status and potential (i.e. buildout). Limitations on the data, and resulting complexity of the logic limit the accuracy of these fields, thus that version is not widely disseminated.", "description": "
