Service Description: The data contained in this dataset is a synthesis of existing information on levees in the State of Washingon. The shapefiles displayed attempt to depict levee centerlines as accurately as possible. Primary data sources include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, In addition to these sources, inputs from local levee managers were used to augment the aforementioned sources.
