Service Description: Parcels within Clallam County with ownership information included.
- This data layer depicts land ownership boundaries to the best available accuracy. The accuracy varies dramatically across the county, with a few areas accurate to less than a foot, most developed areas closer to 10-20 feet, and some more than 100 feet. Each parcel is identified by a unique 12 digit parcel number (PNUM), but may include multiple polygons. Each parcel is defined by historical taxing precedent, consequently, there is no certainty that any given parcel is a legal lot of record. Land that is not taxed may be mapped arbitrarily, and may not have attributes that correspond to taxed parcels. Parcels that are bounded by shorelines, either saltwater or freshwater, may not match the corresponding feature on the hydrologic layers for a variety of reasons.
- Owner name information is extracted from PACS at the time of layer creation.
- Parcels_Internal is the same as prc_detail in Geodata.datowner SDE.
