Service Description: <div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span>Well locations in Clallam County. </span></p><p><span>Dataset originally from Dept. of Ecology based on locations of driller reports for wells in Washington State. These locations are not precisely located, but rather based on centroids within PLSS sections. </span></p><p><span>Clallam County GIS staff are in the process of reviewing each well log report to find better placement of the well. </span></p><p><span>Clallam County location hierarchy: Survey (exact location based on recorded survey map), Sketch Map (approx. location based on a sketch map), Deed (no map, but can verify parcel based on deed), Road (no map, can't verify parcel, but road is verified), Within Qtr Qtr (same as DOE location), Within Section (no map, can't verify parcel, road or Qtr Qtr section).</span></p><p><span>Project was started in 2001 by Carol Creasey and Starla Jodoin. </span></p></div></div></div>
