Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Urban growth refers to growth that makes intensive use of land for the location of buildings, structures, and impermeable surfaces to such a degree as to be incompatible with the production of food, other agricultural products, or fiber, or the extraction of mineral resources. When allowed to spread over wide areas, urban growth typically requires urban governmental services. Rural growth over the last twenty (20) years has made many rural residential areas incompatible with the production of food, etc. These areas, however, do not typically require urban governmental services, such as neighborhood parks, sanitary sewer systems, water systems and stormwater systems. The derivative shapefiles are [cities.shp], [cities_w.shp], [city_limits.shp], [onp_cl.shp], [pln_rgn.shp], [pln_subrgn.shp], [tribes.shp], [UGA.shp], [LAMIRD.shp], [LAMIRD_bndy.shp], [pln_grn.shp], [pln_subrgn.shp], [zoning.shp] and [zoning_labels.shp].</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>November 2018 Zoning was edited to update Tribal trust and reservation properties and clean up slivers in the data. Also updated data to better align with parcel boundaries and Hydro saltwater shorelines . sj</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Feb 2019 Realigned zoning boundaries that abut WTR_CO to centerline of stream per CCC </SPAN><SPAN>33.05.020 Boundaries. Tom Shindler stated that the original zoning mapping cut corners to match parcels instead of using stream centerlines.
